International Campus Group (IC), a German-origin real estate developer specializing in urban housing concepts for students and professionals in Northern and Central Europe, has acquired a new student residence in Leiden from Niersman Project Development B.V.
The property consists of 394 units of various sizes, communal areas, and a garden. Given the sizable student population in Leiden and the increasing scarcity of housing, it is anticipated that demand will continue to rise in the coming years. The Fizz, the housing concept offered by International Campus Group, is well-connected to the city center, the train station, the Bio Science Park, and the university. The building was designed by Kokon Architecture & Urbanism B.V., incorporating sustainable features such as solar panels, a rainwater collection system, a heat pump, and a green roof.
