Woonkwartier is a medium-sized housing corporation in the western part of Brabant. Woonkwartier rents out and manages about 9,500 rental units in 18 villages and smaller towns in the municipalities of Halderberge, Moerdijk and Steenbergen. Woonkwartier has ambitious goals and challenges in its development portfolio. The urgency of projects is increasing, current projects need to be completed in phases and new projects must be initiated with feasible (and scalable) concepts.

In order to get a grip on the process and set it out over time, Woonkwartier has asked RYSE to provide advice on four projects in the feasibility phase. The projects set in motion by RYSE are St. Anna/Maria ter Engelen Monastery in Oudenbosch, Dorus Rijkersstraat in Dinteloord, Constantijn Huygensplein in Hoeven and flexible housing.  

The role of RYSE

RYSE performs the process management for the first three assignments mentioned and acts as project developer for Woonkwartier. This includes steering the processes to establish letters of intent, resident participation, and urban development plans. For the flexible housing dossier, we advise Woonkwartier on future possibilities for this flexible way of living for different target groups.

RYSE contributes to the growth of Woonkwartier's own development team. Furthermore, there is significant coordination in translating solutions into new policy. By collaborating with a team on the development of projects and the development of the team itself, RYSE is a welcome addition, with the expertise and skills to set development tasks in motion.
