Punt Sniep, Diemen: residential development
Located at the intersection of Weespertrekvaart and Muiderstraatweg, Punt Sniep is a water-rich area within cycling distance of Amsterdam. It is part of a large-scale urban development project called "Plantage de Sniep."
A total of 202 apartments have been realised, spread over 10 residential blocks geared towards first-time buyers, families and empty-nesters. Punt Sniep stands out for its sustainable image, coupled with a negative Energy Performance Coefficient (EPC) value, and the strong development of public space with opportunities for commercial spaces in the plinth. It’s a unique location surrounded by water.
From tender to realisation
RYSE supervised the process from tender to design and realisation. For the residential blocks, parking, a communal courtyard, pleasure boat harbour, facilities with a catering function and small-scale business activity. Our real estate lawyers were responsible for the legal supervision of the development. Working on behalf of Punt Sniep Diemen B.V. and future owner, Vesteda. The project was completed on 3 February 2021.
EPC -0.11
RYSE is at the forefront of knowledge about sustainability. That was essential in realising the very high sustainability ambition for Punt Sniep. The integration of solar energy, wood pellet installations, the use of sustainable materials, and daylight control all contribute to achieving a negative EPC.
